I like the idea of educating on insurance and how it can help in the long run. I've filled out three claims forms this week --- all of them were "one month free" with a pet adoption from a shelter agency, and I think all three will be continuing with their policy for the longterm.

I agree that the amount people have to spend on their pets have decreased, but this is a time to educate pet owners on the importance of insurance and how in the long run it will save money. I'm pondering on the idea of having like wellness check up and vaccine clinics at reduced rates. I also have drastically cut down on flea and heartworm medications. I had customers that were not able to five their pets heartworm medication because of the price. I can deal with just a 25% increase from the whole sale price. Too many customers would be asking for the prescription to buy the medications online or get off brands from other countries. I did research and it pays to lower the prices. You have better customer retention. Hopefully we'll be out of this crisis soon.
